Join our team as an Onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming school year! We are currently conducting interviews for this exciting opportunity in Springfield City, Ohio. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic well-being. Collaborating with educators, parents, and professionals, you will evaluate students' needs, develop interventions, and create positive learning environments.
Start/End Date: ASAP to June 18, 2025
37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
-Evaluate the educational, learning styles, and program needs of each high school student referred to special education services
- Provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.
- Reevaluations, with some counseling/consult and MDRs
- Test in the morning and write the report and draft ARD supports for the same student that afternoon. They may also support with the psych portion of some reevaluations at an elementary campus close by.
Requirements:
-Valid Ohio license as a licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP)
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
